We do things very differently at Eagle Lake Kennels. We offer trainer led daycare that focuses on providing healthy, positive learning focused play time.


We don't want to just send your pet home tired we want to ensure he hasn't picked up any bad habits or rude manners.  In fact, we want to help him or her to become the most confident and happy pet he can be.

Good manners and basic obedience skills are reinforced. Our belief is that every moment if an opportunity for a dog to learn and grow. Our staff does the best they can to make it fun and enjoyable for your dog.

Groups are constantly monitored and guided to promote respectful and polite play.  We want only safe and appropriate interactions that translate in to good manners in and our of daycare!

Our facility is meticulously cleaned daily with pet safe products to keep our areas as germ free as possible.

What services do you offer?

We offer a complete range of pet care services,

  • Dog and Cat Boarding
  • Stay and play ( our version of doggy daycare)

What is a typical day for my dog?

  • 6am ~ We open all of the hatches in the sleeping areas, this enables direct access to there own private outdoor area so that they can toilet and stretch their legs
  • 7 to 8 am ~ Breakfast is served, medications are given and we do our health assessments noting any changes in the well being of each dog.
  • 8 am to 11 am ~ Guests arrive and Depart.  All of our guests are let out into supervised groups or individual play areas. Once Kennels are cleaned and sanitized, dogs return to their kennels
  • 10 am to 4 pm ~  Playtime and Exercise. At 11 am our reception closes and the shenanigans begin. We guarantee that every guest will get two 30 minute exercise periods each day.
  • 4 pm to 7 pm ~ More guests head home and our new guests arrive, dinner is served in accordance to individual schedules.
  • 10 pm ~ All hatches are closed over night and its lights out. Judith does her last health check of the night. Cookies and kisses provided free of charge.

What are your kennel cleaning protocols?

Kennels are sanitized daily!  Our indoor kennels are deep cleaned after every single client.  Bowls and bedding are removed daily and of course any pet accidents are cleaned immediately.  Outdoors we use the odiban sanitizing system to ensure the cleanest and most germ free kennels around.

How do I make my pets reservation and how are deposits handled?

Our state of the art booking system handles your reservations for most services.  This software frees us up to do what we do best, caring for your pets!
It accepts credit cards, debit cards, cash and e-transfer for your convenience.
We will always refund your deposit if your cancellation is within 72 hours of your booked dates, things sometimes come up and plans change.   We are also happy to transfer your deposit to another date or service if you prefer.

What do I bring for my dog?

*Please bring his food from home. We are more than happy to feed raw foods, canned foods, supplements etc.  

Need more than two meals per day? no problem just let us know and we will mark it on your pets chart!

*A copy of his vaccination records. WE WILL turn you away if your not up to date. I am more than happy to contact your vet for a copy or you can upload it to your customer profile.

*Treats and Chew sticks , feel free to bring safe chews absolutely no rawhide please!
Dog treats and lots of kisses and hugs provided free of charge.
